International Cooperation
International cooperation is an important component of the strategy of the Association of European Business. The Association enters in partnership with international and regional organizations and implements international projects in collaboration with its members and partners.
On the international level, the Association cooperates with:
- The Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), which unites 20 million companies through its 45 members and a European network of 1700 regional and local chambers. EUROCHAMBRES strives to improve the general conditions in which businesses operate, to facilitate access to markets within and beyond the EU and to ensure the availability of human, financial and natural resources
- International organizations (UN, UNDP, SIDA)
- Embassies of the EU countries in Belarus
- Business associations and business clubs of EU countries operating in Belarus
Together with its members, the Association is implementing such projects as:
- A pilot project for the integrated recycling of production waste from dairy enterprises in partnership with OJSC Milkavita (Gomel) as part of a competition for “green” initiatives (a project funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program);
- Project "Reducing unemployment – promoting entrepreneurship by combining business models and creativity into organic, young and promising business (Creativity and Entrepreneurship)" within the framework of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-Border Cooperation Program within the European Neighborhood Instrument 2014-2020.
