Participation in the meeting of the PAC under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus

The Association of European Business, within the framework of its activities as part of the public advisory council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, supported proposals to optimize the requirements for persons applying for a license for the right to provide legal services.
The AEB supported the proposals providing for:
- Establishment of a written form of attestation examination (computer testing) for obtaining a certificate of attestation of a person providing legal services;

Exemption from passing the certification exam for persons with a high level of education and significant experience in the legal specialty:
- having a higher legal education and work experience in the legal specialty after receiving a higher legal education for at least five years;
- who hold a master's degree in law, or are qualified as a researcher in law, or have a degree and/or title in the field of law.
- Giving the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus the authority to exempt (individually) from passing the qualification exam persons who have merit in the field of jurisprudence.
