Job Shadow Days
28.10.2014
We hereby have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the Job Shadow Days which will take place during the week of November 17th, 2014. This CSR initiative will be implemented in cooperation with the Swedish Institute.
What is Job Shadowing?
It’s a way to get acquainted with professions and explore career options. Students have an opportunity to accompany working professionals (mentors) for one full work day in their everyday work environment. Job shadowing also gives students a chance to ask any questions they might have about the job and how to prepare for it.
What are the benefits for companies and students?
• Students will see the current application of what they are learning, will learn firsthand from adults who have careers in a variety of occupational fields and will subsequently be able to adjust their academic plans (optional subjects, graduate thesis topic, traineeship programmes).
• Mentors will provide students with information on their companies’ brand and philosophy, professional opportunities within given companies, and will also remember why they chose their career.
