GR

One of the priorities of the AEB is communication with governmental authorities. The Association guides its members through the Belarusian regulatory environment, demonstrates best Western practices to civil servants, creates facilities for exchanging experience of applying the local laws, and defends collective interests of its members and partners in the governmental institutions.

The Association provides the following GR services for its members:

• Writing applications and proposals to the state authorities on behalf of the members of the Association;

• Advising on functioning of public authorities;

• Helping build cooperation between private companies and the governmental agencies;

• Participating in the advisory boards under the ministries and agencies:

 

- Member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus

- Member of the working group under the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus “Improving human resources in accordance of with an international business demands ” 

- Member of the working group under the Council of Ministers and  the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus “Improving investment climate”

- Member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus 

- Member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Tax and Duties of the Republic of Belarus 

- Member of the Advisory Board under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus 

- Member of the Advisory Board under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus

• Submitting and defending the position of European business on the draft laws open for public comment;

• Organizing meetings with governmental officials;

• Researching on the work of the state apparatus;

• Inviting state officials to the events organized by the Association;

• Preparing analytical materials.

At the committees, companies discuss topical issues of the law enforcement in Belarus and frame their joint position for public authorities. Upon request of its members, the Association of European Business invites experts and representatives of ministries and governmental agencies to its committees.
