A position paper on revising the draft technical regulations for nicotine-containing products has been submitted

In connection with the EEC's planned meeting on October 9, 2025, to discuss the draft EAEU technical regulation "Technical Regulations for Nicotine-Containing and Nicotine-Free Products" in preparation for the national approval process, the Association has submitted proposals to the EEC for revising the technical regulations. As part of the submitted position paper, the Association proposes returning to the previously specified liquid volume in nicotine delivery systems and their refills. It also notes that substantive amendments to the draft technical regulations are unacceptable after the RIA process.
