Participation in the Roundtable "Prospects for the Development of Extended Producer Responsibility and a Deposit System for Packaging in the Republic of Belarus"

Representatives of AEB member companies participated in the roundtable discussion "Prospects for the Development of Extended Producer Responsibility and a Deposit System for Packaging in the Republic of Belarus," organized by the UN Global Compact Network in Belarus in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Ecopartnership, and Sberbank. Participants learned about international experience in implementing extended producer responsibility (EPR) mechanisms and discussed the prospects for implementing EPR and a deposit system for packaging in Belarus with government officials.
