Clarifications received regarding the Uniform Rules for the Protection of Consumer Rights

In response to the AEB's request regarding the application in the Republic of Belarus of the provisions of the Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State dated December 6, 2024 No. 6 "On Uniform Rules in the Field of Consumer Rights Protection", the Ministery of trade regulation indicated that the uniform rules contain only a framework for the approximation of the legislation of the member states of the Union State, which does not imply their direct application in the territory of the Republic of Belarus without a corresponding adjustment to the law "On the Protection of Consumer Rights".
